Frequently Asked Questions: How can I get on your mailing list? - There are two ways we can contact you about our sales and events. You can visit our web site at www.steinmart.com and sign up to receive notice of our ads via e-mail. Or, you can sign up for our Preferred Customer program. This will allow us to include you on our mailing list. Simply visit any Stein Mart store and an associate can provide you with information on the program and a Preferred Customer card. For your convenience you can also sign up on-line.
What is the Preferred Customer Program? - By becoming a Preferred Customer, you will receive mailings during the year with information on special events and discount offers. This program is not based on points or spending. However, by scanning your Preferred Customer card, it allows us to better target you with mailings that are appropriate to your buying patterns.
I lost my Preferred Customer Card. How can I get a new one? - Each Preferred Customer card has a unique number so it will be necessary for you to sign up again. To do so, visit your nearest store or, for your convenience, sign up on-line at www.steinmart.com and click on "Preferred Customer." Your newly issued card will be matched to you in our database and override your old card information so there is no duplication.
How do I change the mailing address on my Preferred Customer Card? - If you change your mailing address with the US Postal Service, Stein Mart will receive your updated information in 6-8 weeks. Changes of address and adding/updating an email address can also be made in any Stein Mart store - just tell an associate.
Why is my mail arriving after the date of the event? - We are working very diligently with the Post Office to insure that the mailings are delivered in a timely manner. The mailings you receive are intended to be in homes prior to the event date. While we specify in-home dates, we can't dictate these dates. Check with your local post office if this is an ongoing problem.
